Have you ever worried about something God already told you He is going to provide? “I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have, for I have seen the abundant riches of glory revealed to me through Jesus Christ!” Philippians‬ 4:19‬ TPT‬‬

Last year I was pregnant with our miracle baby and hurricane season came to the south. I was so worried because I wanted a safer house to live in, especially now that a baby was coming. I was thinking about all the worst case scenarios possible, I was even pushing my husband to rent a house (when he was asking me to trust the Lord because He was going to provide the right one), but the rents were crazy high. I just gave up, my worries led me nowhere, and I surrendered everything to God, even my own strength to try to find a house.

We evacuated once, and I was crazy nervous to know if our house survived the hurricane. Trees fell, but only around the house, not on the house. God protected us and our belongings. We had no power (bye A/C, stove, fridge, food) for a week. I was 8 months pregnant. And then it clicked for me, in the middle of a very hot house, eating pop tarts cause it was the only thing we had to eat and everything was closed, I will be content with what I have, with what the Lord gave me for today. As soon as the power came back, we started decorating the nursery room, and my worries went away.

Fifteen days after that, on my birthday, we received a call. It was one of those calls you don’t expect — the kind of call you know God was in charge of working on before you even had the need. There was a house available for us – the perfect house! Not to rent, but to buy. We moved 1 month after our baby was born.

I’m so thankful for my virtual group who was praying for us – for both a house and for protection. I love that we can get to celebrate every miracle in our virtual meetings, miracles of every kind, but I love even more that we can be praying together for our needs and then watch God move.
Last summer we were finally able to start our first round of IVF after it got postponed a couple of times due to various reasons, including the health of my husband. We felt that God led us into the IVF route and this got confirmed over and over and so we walked in faith on this path. The egg retrieval was painful. However God gave me a Dutch song (based on Psalm 91) to play over and over again in my head during the procedure. They were able to harvest 29 eggs!! 15 got fertilized and we ended up having 6 4-day-embryo’s in the freezer! This might seem quite an elimination race however for us this was the perfect amount we prayed for.

Due to the risk of OHSS we couldn’t have a fresh transfer and had to wait another 3 months. In this period of waiting God called me to sign up to become a leader for a MITM group in the Netherlands! This kept me busy until our first embryo transfer in November. In the meantime God confirmed again that IVF would be His way to conceive. The night before the transfer I received a name in a dream for our little one (another confirmation). The transfer itself went super smoothly and we felt surrounded by prayer. Two weeks later I couldn’t resist taking a test because all the signs were there. Positive! I didn’t even have to wait on the 2nd pink line to appear.

The first ultrasounds went great and were better then we could’ve hoped for. The anatomical scan at 20 weeks though showed a slightly enlarged kidney. Not life threatening but something to be checked again at 30 weeks. So about 10 weeks later we came back and the kidney had grown even larger. So we were referred to an academic kids hospital for an extensive check-up. A week later we went into the hospital. Though surrounded by prayers of healing and peace, I was super nervous for the full day. However in the hospital none of the specialists who were called in to check our little one could find any abnormality. God did it again!!

Now we’re in the final weeks and are able to enjoy it. God has been so faithful!
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 4 years this month. At the beginning of this journey I was faithful in my walk with the Lord. I wasn’t perfect, but I enjoyed fellowship weekly and spent time in prayer daily. Once I realized that we were traveling a road that would be longer than a few months I began to question what I had done to deserve this. What I had done wrong. This questioning turned into questioning God and His timing. Why would He allow me to face this? What sin had I committed for God to allow us to not become parents? I eventually quit going to church and quickly lost faith.

In fall/winter 2021 I was experiencing severe depression. During this time I had quit going to church. I spent at least 3 years without walking into the building, much less taking part in fellowship with other believers. I decided that on Christmas of 2021 I should go to church. I sat in the pew and cried the entire time. I would not allow myself to hear what the pastor was preaching on, all I could think was, “Why should I be here when God has control of the world and is allowing me to experience the worst pain of my life?” Someone introduced me to In Due Time which led to Moms in the Making. I joined a virtual group in January 2022. Through the ladies in this group, the curriculum, and Jesus Christ, I was able to come out of my depression. I now attend church every chance I get. I spend time daily in the Bible and praying. I have not been able to get enough of Jesus the past few months.

This group has helped me fall in love with Christ again, in turn allowing me to love myself. Infertility seems like such a lonely road until you find a group of ladies loving the Lord and encouraging each other! I do not believe infertility is my final destination, unfortunately it is just the path I must walk. Since finding Moms in the Making I am able to turn the lies from the devil (I have done something wrong, I will never have a baby, etc) into realities from the Lord. Now I can understand that I have done nothing wrong and I will be a mother one day.
After 3 years of infertility and several failed IUIs, God made a way for me to do IVF. Last year I changed jobs in March and had been seeing a new specialist for a couple months, who had diagnosed me with endometriosis. That doctor determined that IVF was our best option.

After switching jobs, my husband and I started the IVF journey. We did two egg retrievals and then two different transfers. The first transfer in September 2021 was unsuccessful. The second transfer happened a week before Thanksgiving 2021. The second transfer worked and we can’t wait to meet our baby boy in August!

God also made a way for my husband to start a new job to help support us while I’m out on maternity leave. I am so thankful I found Moms in the Making when we were trying. I read the founder’s book, In Due Time, and it really helped keep my faith up as we went through this whole process. I am so thankful!
In 2008 my husband and I got married. I had been diagnosed with PCOS 2 years prior, but we had high hopes that God could help us conceive when we were ready. About a year into our marriage we were approached about adopting my husband’s third cousin. We didn’t hesitate because we always knew we were called to adopt.

Not too long after, we wanted to give our son a sibling and started trying to conceive. I struggled with my hormones for years and the weight of trying to conceive was heavy on us. I remember laying in bed at night crying myself to sleep because of the difficulty of trying to conceive. We had so many obstacles to face over the years and it made it unbearable.

Due to infertility and the distractions of being Pastors of a church we both drifted away from God and each other. During this time we felt like we were supposed to adopt again. We began pursuing adoption but it kept falling through for several years. In 2017 our marriage hit rock bottom and the devil almost destroyed our marriage. Against all odds, our marriage survived thanks to the mercies of God and the redeeming forgiveness of our loving Father. We were both able to confront our weaknesses and forgive each other for drifting apart.

In 2020 we were introduced to NaPro technology. I was able to dig deeper into my infertility issues and in 2021 I was scheduled to have an exploratory surgery to check for endometriosis and other hidden issues. They didn’t find any endometriosis, performed an ovarian wedge resection, found an adhesion on my descending colon that they corrected, removed an extra tube that didn’t belong there and found an infection in my uterus. I recovered from surgery beautifully.

During my recovery we met a sibling set of 3 precious little girls who we instantly fell in love with. I just knew they were meant to be ours. We began trying to conceive and I was put on tamoxifen to help me ovulate. Around September we found out that the girls were up for adoption and by October 31st they were placed in our home. About 2 weeks later we found out I was pregnant! After 13 years of waiting, God performed a miracle. Thank you Lord!
In March of 2020 we conceived our miracle baby. This was my second normal cycle in years! With a PCOS diagnosis I was used to 40 to 60 day cycles that were extremely difficult due to pain and other factors.

Throughout the pregnancy I was told I had a high chance of miscarriage, gestational diabetes, and that I would not be able to breastfeed due to PCOS. But, prior to getting pregnant I felt the Lord prompting me on diet changes and then the cycle we conceived I prayed healing over my reproductive system.

After that I claimed my healing! Throughout the pregnancy I rebuked what was spoken because I knew that I was indeed healed from PCOS. I had a picture perfect pregnancy (they were actually shocked at my glucose test and wanted to double check). Breastfeeding was never an issue and I had plenty of supply. And now 18 months out from delivery I have had 6 regular cycles with “normal menstrual symptoms.” I have been healed from PCOS completely! Each month I praise God for my timely cycles and my complete healing!
My name is Denise and together with my husband Giorgio, we were praying and asking God to bless us with children. We waited and waited, but nothing happened. In 2019 I finally got pregnant. Our hearts were full of joy, but then I unfortunately miscarried. The doctor said that it would be difficult for me to be pregnant because of my high level of prolactin and my polycystic ovaries.

Despite that, we were sure that the Lord would bless us with children one day, at the perfect time, because God talked to us in several dreams and through prophecies. We dreamed more than once about babies and me being pregnant.

I decided to fast and to seek the Lord more than ever. During that time I read Caroline’s book “In Due Time“. It gave me soooo much strength and hope. I also declared over my womb all of God’s promises written in that amazing book.

During that time our faith and our personal relation with Jesus grew enormously. Paul’s words in James 1:2-3 were so powerful to us. We were sure about God’s promise and happy about the test/trial we had to overcome to one day give all the Glory to our mighty God Jesus Christ.

All the patience was worth it. After 5 years of waiting, exactly the 24th of December 2021 we discovered that I was pregnant. Right now I’m entering in the 6th month of pregnancy and the due date of our miracle baby girl is at the end of August 2022.

We never lost faith and kept praying. I want to encourage all of you to keep believing in God’s promises without doubting and to always look to Jesus. He knows the perfect time for your miracle.

After eight years of infertility, foster care, adoption, 2 losses, loads of fertility treatments and procedures, medications, injections, doctors, specialist, medical test, pokes and prods, I am pregnant and am due on October 24, 2022. I just found out just one month after the passing of my father.

This pregnancy has not been without its scares and I am currently on modified bedrest but God’s timing, although difficult to understand, is always perfect. I am currently 14 weeks pregnant and we are over the moon with gratitude and excitement for this sweet baby.

To my sisters still in waiting, through all the difficult seasons of life know that God is pruning your life and chiseling away at all dry and dead branches so new life can grow. Your spring is coming!
My husband and I got married in 2013. Although we wanted children, we decided to wait. Our marriage immediately was hard due to depression and illness. This lasted for several years. I had a job when we married, but due to illness I could no longer work.

In 2018 I finally started to feel myself again, but for months I bled. Eventually it turned out that I was pregnant. We were very happy, but my fear was that it wasn’t ok. Our first ultrasound was beautiful and I enjoyed my pregnancy for 5 days but then I started bleeding a lot. The heartbeat was still there but very slow; our little one was dying. After 2 weeks, she was born. The name we gave her means: ‘God is my light’, and buried her.

During my grieving process, I came across Moms in the Making on Instagram. And their content was so positive and full of hope that I started following them. It also gave me hope and peace that other women in such difficult times, could still be hopeful. In the summer of 2019, I had signed up for the online support group of Moms in the Making in the UK. This support group was really what I needed in my time of waiting.

During the support group evenings of MITM God was saying: the Netherlands needs this too. After a while there was a notification for new group leader applications. It didn’t matter where you lived and I knew right away: God is wanting me to do this. I signed up and was super busy to set this up here in the Netherlands, when suddenly God said to me: you have to take a pregnancy test. I laughed and thought: “I have taken tests so many times over the years, why should it be any different now?” But every day God said this to me. On December 29th 2020 I took a test and it was positive! I knew; this was His blessing for us!

On 3 September 2021, our daughter Olivia Sara Elora was born. Elora means: God is my light. Because He is still my light in everything! God is really blessing Moms in the Making here in the Netherlands and I can’t wait to see how He will bless it even more. God has done it for us and will do it again!

After 5 years of infertility, and rounds of failed medicated cycles, two failed IUIs, my husband and I decided to proceed with IVF. We started testing back in January. I had a polypectomy on February 4, and doctor said to wait at least four weeks to go back. I called them on March 4, exactly a month later. To my surprise they only had openings in May. I was really sad but I booked it for May 2. I hung up the phone and cried. I felt defeated because I was confident that we were ready to start.

The following week I started to feel more sensitive. I cried for no reason on my way home from work and was always angry and hungry. This is not usually like me at all but didn’t think much of it. I kept praying and asking God to rescue me because I was depressed, sad, just wanted to stay in bed all day. I asked God to show me a way to have my appointments sooner. During this waiting time I kept praying and asking God to do what He wants but just give me some comfort so it wouldn’t hurt as much as it has.

Scrolling on Instagram one day I saw a message that really encouraged me and as soon as I read it I started crying I felt like God was answering all my prayers. From that day on instead of asking for anything I started thanking Him for everything He’s done and what He’s going to do in my life. That depressing feeling disappeared and I was happy again.

So just like I had done every single month out of faith, I took a pregnancy test and to my surprise and to the glory of the Lord it came back positive. I got on my knees and worshiped and thanked my Lord for He fulfilled the desire of my heart. My blood test confirmed my pregnancy and my hCG levels continues to double appropriately. Now in May instead of coming up with my IVF plan, I’ll have an ultrasound to see my baby. Our MIRACLE baby! God is good!
